About Us

Set on the beautiful Ashdown Forest and established in 1886, Forest Row Cricket Club is in the heart of the village. We are friendly and family club and have a great mixture of young talent to the old pro's.

Our 1st XI and 2nd XI complete in the 2nd and 7th Division of the East Sussex Cricket League (ESCL) - 3rd XI and 4th XI play in the Mid Sussex Cricket League (MSCL) Division 5 and Conference.

We had another great season in 2015 and we are looking to continue on the great effort from 2015. Our 1st XI had an up and down year but easily managed to stay in Division 2 of the ESCL and will be pushing for that elusive top flight in 2016. Our 2nd XI gained their 2nd successive promotion from Division 8 and will be looking to make it a hatrick in 2016.

Our 3rd team also had a good season again and proved that a mixture of older heads and younger talent is the way forward and will be looking to push on from last season. Our 4th XI had a great run in the cup this year reaching the Robbie Divall finals day and were just pipped in a great final which was held at Forest Row this season.

We also operate a Sunday XI, Midweek XI and compete in the Roochi Twenty20 Midweek during the height of the summer.

Our Junior section is run under the watchful eye of Junior manager Brian Leppard and we offer cricket to boys and girls from Age5+. We have 3 ECB qualified coaches running various age groups on a Friday evening at Forest Row Memorial Pavilion and we also play league games in the Mid Sussex Junior League.

We offer cricket to young cricketers starting out to seasoned pro's. So if you would like to join us the for the 2016 season please email us or contact us and we look forward to seeing you at Forest Row Cricket Club.
